I bought the aqua blue dye and I dyed a spot that was already bleach blonde. It stayed in well enough.
The user should wash their hair in cooler than usual temperatures when maintaining this color. Hot water makes it come out faster. It lasted about 3 weeks to a month. That is the same length of time the professional job I had done seemed to last.
It turned into more of an aqua green, which I didn't mind much. Ok, now Lusty lavender, that aggravated me. I dyed a different section of my hair with the blonde and that went ok. I wasn't very good at it, but I think I did well for the first time bleaching my own hair.
I used purple twice (on dry hair, before anyone asks). It was mostly out by the 3rd shower on the 1st time. First, it was deep purple similar to the box (more so, bc of concentrated dye), then it was kind of an electric lavender/pink, and then, it was a patchy, barely pink and blonde. Now, after the 2nd application, it's doing it again, so I used a gentle cleansing conditioner to seal the color better in this last shower, instead of the shampoo/conditioner I usually use.
It kind of prolonged the dye color (it's more of a pink).
I feel like this purple dye is cheaper made than the blue and in general, and not worth the purchase bc it doesn't stay in. 2/5 stars for this brand.
